I’m Mike Konczal. I was a former Special Assistant to the President and Chief Economist of the National Economics Council under President Biden. Before that I was an early hire of the Roosevelt Institute's think tank, a financial engineer, in software, a columnist, a blogger, and many other things. I am is forever a Chicago Guy, a dad, and a #rstats fan. In 2011 Time magazine named me the 22nd best financial blogger. My personal website is here.
